Specifically designed for law enforcement use, the TFC1 differs in several details from flashlights intended for everyday use both indoors and outdoors. For starters, the strobe mode can be activated instantly even when the flashlight is turned off. In addition, both switches (main switch for on/off and flashlight, secondary switch for strobe and brightness) are positioned at the end for intuitive operation. Powered by two CR123 (lithium 3V) batteries, it offers four brightness levels (5/50/300/1000 lumens); using a 18650 lithium rechargeable battery, the maximum output increases to 1400 lumens, and with a 21700 rechargeable battery the maximum output increases further to 1500 lumens. An internal memory ensures that the TFC1 always turns on at the most recently used level. A warning is emitted when the available battery capacity drops below 25%. A removable stainless steel clip is provided for convenience, which can be replaced by a tactical ring (included). The durable aluminum body is anodized and waterproof to IPX8 standard. It comes with a nylon sheath, tactical ring, lanyard, 2 batteries (CR123), battery adapter and spare gasket. Two remote switches (long and short) are available as optional accessories.
