Levenhuk Discovery Spark 769 EQ telescope with book - DISCOVERY
Discovery Channel informs, entertains and inspires its audiences around the world about the wonders of our planet, its diversity and its surprises. Offering millions of people the chance to make new discoveries and satisfy their curiosities, Discovery offers an engaging mix of narratives, across multiple genres: science and technology, exploration, adventure, history and a behind-the-scenes look at people, places and organizations that shape the world we live in.
We are proud to introduce the Discovery line of optical instruments, manufactured by Levenhuk and sponsored by Discovery.
The Levenhuk Discovery Spark 769 EQ spherical perfect for beginners who want to explore deep sky objects: nebulae, star clusters and distant galaxies. Thanks to this telescope it is possible to observe many of the objects listed and others, including those in the Messier catalogue. Even interplanetary space, i.e. the Moon and the planets of the Solar System, remains accessible to observations. The colorful educational book “Space. Void not-void” will help you brush up on your astronomy knowledge and explore the starry sky.
The optical tube of the Levenhuk Discovery Spark 769 EQ telescope must be oriented manually using its equatorial mount equipped with knobs for controlling micrometric movement. This makes it easy to track objects in their apparent motion in the sky, without ever losing sight of them. This is a feature that will be appreciated by those who want to try their hand at astrophotography. The glass optics of the telescope have been treated with a special anti-reflection coating, which significantly improves light transmission and, therefore, also image quality. Celestial bodies will be visible crisply and clearly.
A sturdy aluminum tripod will help stabilize the telescope at your chosen viewing location. The height of the tripod is adjustable according to the user's needs. The accessory tray, positioned in the center of the tripod, holds replacement eyepieces, lenses, etc. Everything needed for observations is already included in the package.
