The Levenhuk Discovery Spark 114 AZ is a perfect Newtonian reflector for the study of deep sky objects. You can use it to observe nebulae, star clusters and double stars. It is also suitable for the exploration of celestial bodies within the orbit of Saturn. The telescope is sold accompanied by an illustrated educational book on space. It will become a wonderful guide for budding astronomers, thanks to its ability to bring users closer to the mysteries of the universe.

The optical tube of the Levenhuk Discovery Spark 114 AZ telescope is aimed using an altazimuth fork mount. The mount features a lock knob for precise and smooth vertical movements. The mirror is spherical in shape and the optical elements of the telescope are made of glass with anti-reflection treatment. With a focal length of 900 mm, the telescope is able to “reach” even the dimmest objects in the deep sky and reproduce a clear, sharp and crystalline image.

The mount is installed on a sturdy metal tripod with adjustable legs. An accessory tray can be attached to the center of the tripod. The kit includes eyepieces with various focal lengths and a Barlow lens, which offers the possibility of carrying out observations with different magnifications. If necessary, you can add other accessories to your telescope: the eyepiece barrel has a standard diameter of 1.25" which allows for the installation of numerous additional accessories.
