The Levenhuk Discovery Sky T60 is a classic AZ refractor. This is a great choice for beginners. First of all, its optics allow you to observe many objects in the cosmos (the Moon is easy to examine) and learning to use this telescope only takes a couple of minutes. The well-stocked accessory kit is another undeniable advantage of this telescope: no need to buy anything separately! The kit even includes an educational book on the cosmos.

All objects can be observed at different magnifications. Simply replace the eyepiece or add a Barlow lens to vary the magnification range. An upright eyepiece and a mirror diagonal are included in the kit for terrestrial observations. These accessories make it possible to use the telescope as a powerful terrestrial spotting scope. An optical finder installed on the telescope tube is useful for identifying the position of celestial bodies.

The AZ mount is equipped with a micrometric screw on the vertical axis, which allows you to adjust the telescope, centering it on the object desired smoothly and precisely. The tripod is made of aluminum alloy and equipped with an accessory tray. The height of the tripod is adjustable, so the telescope can easily adapt to the user's height. The tripod is very stable. It remains firmly in place even on non-flat surfaces.

The educational book “Space. Void Not Void” is a great help in mastering the basics of astronomy. This colorful guide explains every aspect of the Solar System (the Sun, planets and their satellites), meteors and comets, distant stars and much more, all in accessible language. The book contains lively illustrations and advice on using the telescope.
