Levenhuk Discovery Spark 767 AZ telescope with book - DISCOVERY
Discovery Channel informs, entertains and inspires its audiences around the world about the wonders of our planet, its diversity and its surprises. Offering millions of people the chance to make new discoveries and satisfy their curiosities, Discovery offers an engaging mix of narratives, across multiple genres: science and technology, exploration, adventure, history and a behind-the-scenes look at people, places and organizations that shape the world we live in.
We are proud to introduce the Discovery line of optical instruments, manufactured by Levenhuk and sponsored by Discovery.
The Levenhuk Discovery Spark 767 AZ is a classic Newtonian reflector entry level, designed for observation of deep sky objects. With this telescope it is possible to study double stars as well as the largest globular star clusters and open clusters. It will be possible to observe almost all the deep sky objects in the Messier catalogue, although not in detail. As for the celestial bodies closest to the Earth, it is possible to explore the Moon and the so-called terrestrial planets.
The optics of the Levenhuk Discovery Spark 767 AZ telescope are made of glass with anti-reflection treatment and reproduce clear, sharp images and crystalline. The alt-azimuth mount allows you to easily control the telescope by moving the tube horizontally and vertically. Pointing the instrument at astronomical objects is an easy activity to master, even for a beginner. The vertical axis of the mount features a locking knob that ensures high-precision pointing.
Three eyepieces and a 2x Barlow lens are also included, allowing you to experiment with magnifications. Accessories are conveniently stored in the tripod tray, which has adjustable height. It should also be underlined that the educational book “Space. Void Not Void” is an excellent resource for aspiring astronomers and is supplied in a colorful gift box together with the telescope and its accessories. The book is a guide to space exploration, which helps you discover new information about celestial bodies or brush up on your knowledge before proceeding with stargazing.
