The Levenhuk Blitz 70 PLUS achromatic refractor is a great choice for budding astronomers. With this instrument it is possible to observe the planets of the Solar System with their satellites, some deep sky objects and detailed images of the Moon. This telescope can also be used for terrestrial observations.
It is equipped with glass lenses with anti-reflection treatment. The optics transmit a clear and sharp image, without optical distortions. The kit includes three eyepieces for space exploration and a straightening eyepiece for terrestrial observations, as well as a Barlow lens and a mirror diagonal to vary the magnification during observations. However, if the supplied set is not enough, you can always purchase additional accessories. The telescope is equipped with a standard 31.75 millimeter (1.25 inch) focuser, making it compatible with most accessories available on the market.
The equatorial mount is operated by hand. For balancing it is necessary to use a counterweight. Focusing is performed using two knobs to control slow-motion. The height of the aluminum tripod is adjustable. It is also equipped with an accessory tray.
