Its main features are simple assembly and functioning. The optical tube is mounted on a classic altazimuth mount, which requires no special skills or knowledge for operation. If you want to point a telescope at a celestial object, just turn the tube without extra effort and the mount will keep it fixed in the chosen position. To precisely aim at celestial objects, a classic optical finder with 5x magnification is used.
The optical elements in the reflector are made of fully coated glass which improves the sharpness and contrast of the image. The kit includes a Barlow lens and four eyepieces: with 150x, 30x, 48x magnification and a straightening eyepiece. Choose the appropriate magnification for your observations, increase or decrease it by changing the eyepieces. The mirror diagonal included in the kit is used for terrestrial observations. Like all telescopes, Levenhuk Skyline BASE 50T transmits an inverted image and a mirrored diagonal makes it realistic.
An aluminum tripod with adjustable legs makes the telescope more stable. You can adjust each leg separately - this allows the Levenhuk Skyline BASE 50T to stand upright even on a rough surface. An accessory tray is attached to the tripod. You can use a tray to conveniently store eyepieces, sky maps, a compass or other materials.
