The Clavum was born as a more specific machete for areas with non-tropical vegetation, therefore Clavum has a blade designed for vegetation with more compact fibres and therefore harder to cut.

The 5 mm thickness and the particular curved profile of the blade make it easier to cut compared to machetes with a straight blade specifically for tropical vegetation. The right weight (671 g) and the particular profile of the Clavum blade make it an excellent cutting tool, furthermore the vibrations that the cut causes on the wrist are less than a machete with a thinner blade.

The HANDLE has an exceptional grip, even in situations of heavy hand sweating or a hand soaked in mud.

All this thanks to the profile and design of the grip.

The profile of the blade is inspired by a tried and tested agricultural tool; the “billhook” of undoubted effectiveness.

Furthermore, Clavum is equipped with a “handle” and at the same time a cutter which serve to grab branches or other items that are higher or further away from the maximum extension of the arm and bring them closer for cutting.
