Rear view for the shield of S&W M P &, 9 /. 40. These locations are precision CNC machined from 4140 bar pre-hardened stock and are designed to withstand the rigors of hard duty use. Sight features a U notch for quick alignment with tritium dot or brass bead front sight. The rear face is serrated at 40 lpi to reduce glare in varying lighting conditions. The saw blade is thick enough to allow for setting tritium vials as points or bars, if one so chooses, shaped and is dehorned for convenient carrying and handling. Finished in black in nitrocarburizing salt bath, equivalent to the factory finish on the slide, for superior hardness and corrosion resistance.
