The Archangel® OPFOR® AK series forend is designed for all short range AKs. Consisting of f (4) pieces: a lower hand protector, two (2) upper hand protectors (one with integrated 12 o'clock Picatinny rail) and an internal heat shield; the hand guards are built with legendary strength, carbon fiber and black glass reinforced polymer. The lower handguard has a comfortable bulge and is grooved for grip control; upper hand guards are aggressively grooved allowing for a firm grip from the hand. The forend is suitably ventilated for heat dissipation. Designed for comfort and control. The length of the M1913 Picatinny rail is 3.75 inches. 922 (r) compliance. Lifetime warranty. Made in USA.
