Sig Sauer SIERRA 3 BDX integrates the MOTAC™ (Motion Activated Illumination) system which turns the riflescope on when it detects movement and turns off after several minutes if no longer moved, this is to preserve battery life.


Sig Sauer SIERRA 3 BDX has an automatic holdover system, being on the second focal plane, changing the magnification, the point of impact on the reticle is automatically updated.


The Sig Sauer SIERRA 3 BDX lenses have a Spectracoat™ treatment which offers high transmission broadband light and a high-efficiency surface anti-reflection coating.
For ethical hunting, Sig Sauer SIERRA 3 BDX installs the innovative KINETHIC kinetic indicator that indicates when energy on target falls below a threshold that can be set by the hunter using the SIG BDX app.


Sig Sauer SIERRA 3 BDX is equipped with LEVELPLEX, i.e. a digital bubble that tells you when you are not perfectly horizontal with the reticle on the target, with a tolerance of +/- 0.5 °.
