First focal plane (FFP) reticle models allow you to maintain the correct proportion of aiming references regardless of the magnification you are using. As the magnification increases, the size of the reticle also increases, at the same time as the image you are looking at.

Using a combination of FFP optics, Mil-spaced reticles and turrets with 1/10 sensitivity MRAD, Hawke has made adjustments elementary at any magnification. The first focal plane Mil Pro reticle is a milliradian-spaced reticle, with half-mil references extending to an overall measurement of 10 Mil.

FFP MIL PRO (15×) RETICLE
The FFP Mil Pro reticle is designed specifically for first focal plane optics, and is based on common principles of Mil-spaced reticles. With half the mil markings spaced and extending to 10 mils in windage, the FFP Mil Pro reticle is highly versatile and provides aiming points at even the most extreme ranges.

All reticle measurements use mil spacing and offer 1 Mil, 0.5 Mil, and 0.25 Mil markings for distance calculations. The lower section displays a number every two mil spacings, for quick and easy target acquisition and easy reference.

Each crosshair features a transparent gap, so as not to block your view of the target. The thick external roots are hollow, to be visible at all magnifications without excessively blocking the view.
