As with Mil dot spacing, the series of stadia lines represents an angular unit called a milliradian (Mrad), or Mil. This is equivalent to a gap of 3.6 inches at 100 yards, or 3 feet at 1,000 yards, which corresponds to 10 cm at 100 m, or 1 m at 1,000 m. When the magnification is set to 10x, the Tmx reticle features 16 Mil spacing for drop compensation to the far edge of the field of view and 6 Mil spacing for lateral compensation, in every direction. When used at 20x magnification, it allows for 8 Mil spacing for drop compensation and 3 Mil for lateral compensation. The Tmx is a versatile reticle that provides aiming points in the most extreme conditions.
