At the same time, however, thanks to the parallax adjustment from 10m to infinity, it is also appreciated by the most demanding sports shooters. The 4-24×50 is available with three reticles:
4A, 4A SB and Di-MD. In the new 4A SB reticle the references are placed 7cm apart, considering a distance of 100m at 12X magnification. This allows rapid adjustment of the shot at distances ranging from 150 to 300m using a cartridge with an initial velocity of 800-900m/s.
For example: using a cal. .308W, with a weight of 10.7g and velocity of 820m/s, with a weapon whose zero point is adjusted to 100m, the shooter will use the second reference down (14cm of compensation) to shoot at 200m.
