entirely on bullet accuracy rather than velocity
of production. Berger's line of Hunting bullets is proving itself
be one of the deadliest available on the market in regards to
hunting. All Berger hunting line bullets are made
according to a VLD profile. The VLD design is characterized by having a
sharp point that allows the ball to penetrate 2" to 3" sooner than
start expanding. Once the bullet begins to expand,
it can lose between 40% and 85% of its weight as chips in the tissue
surrounding. The combination of shrapnel and hydrostatic shock
produces a hollow wound in the vital sector of the animal, which can be
up to 13”/15” long.
This massive wound has repercussions on the animal falling to the ground e
on the speed of the shock it undergoes. The animals instead
they do not fall to the ground immediately they will suffer a lightning loss
arterial and/or organ failure which will lead them to a rapid and ethical
killing.
