The ZEISS adapter consists of two parts: the DTC ring (standard size) and a DTC adapter adapted to the diameter of the riflescope's lens. The ZEISS adapter allows for simple and precise attachment of the DTC 3 attachment. The DTC ring and the DTC adapter are not included in the scope of delivery of the DTC 3.

The DTC ring is the connecting element between the DTC adapter and the DTC thermal imager mount 3. The DTC ring is equipped with a threaded M52 screw on the mount side. On the side of the adapter there is a bayonet connection. The screw thread ensures a stable and secure attachment, while the bayonet attachment creates a reliable connection between adapter and DTC 3 with its rotation and insertion movement. Once the combination of DTC 3 mount, DTC ring, DTC adapter and riflescope has been zeroed, the accessory can be easily removed, for example for transport. Thanks to the bayonet mount, the position of the point of impact remains unchanged as long as the position of the DTC adapter on the side of the riflescope is not changed. The DTC ring can be purchased separately and allows you to attach a DTC 3 to numerous riflescopes in the process.
