Ermenrich NetGeeks NU30 optical multimeter - ERMENRICH

The Ermenrich NetGeeks NU30 is an optical multimeter with VFL (visual fault locator) function that will prove to be an indispensable tool for specialists in the design, laying and installation of fiber optic telecommunication lines. With this instrument it is possible to measure the absolute optical power output from any signal source, measure the power attenuation during fiber transmission, as well as detect and locate any faults. This multimeter is suitable for home and professional use.

The meter supports six wavelengths and is equipped with FC, SC and ST connectors. For a more accurate measurement of attenuation, it is possible to set a reference level: the instrument will automatically calculate the difference between the input and output signal power. There is a VFL function with continuous and pulsed operation modes. This function allows you to locate damaged cables or locate a specific cable. When this option is activated, the instrument starts operating in transmit mode with a wavelength of 650 nm. If a malfunction is detected, the location of the fault will be indicated by a red indicator.

The instrument is compact and simple to use. This multimeter is powered by three standard batteries.
