The Ermenrich NetGeeks NU10 optical multimeter is a compact tool with which to test fiber optic telecommunication lines. You can measure the absolute optical power or the relative optical power attenuation between two points in a fiber optic cable. This tool is useful for those who install and maintain optical cable networks and for those who inspect and certify telecommunications infrastructures.

The multimeter supports six wavelengths: you can select which one desired simply by pressing a button. FC, SC and ST connectors are available. A reference level can be set for the transmitted power in the wavelength used, which makes it easier to locate power losses. Measurements are shown on the integrated, backlit screen. The device is powered by batteries. Auto-off feature helps save energy.
