The lenses are coated and made of very low dispersion (ED) glass
Extra low dispersion (ED) optics eliminate stray light reflections from the final image, i.e. those halos that appear at the edges of the image due to the peculiar characteristics of the refracted light. Chromatic aberrations are eliminated throughout the entire field of view, both in the center and at the edges. The monocular provides 10x magnification, with an objective lens that works perfectly in low light conditions. The lens collects a lot of light, so the image remains clear and contrasted even when observing at twilight or in cloudy weather. The optics can focus on any object starting from a minimum distance of 2 meters, which allows observations even indoors. The long eye relief is practical for those who wear glasses, as it does not make it necessary to remove them before using the instrument.
The shell, light and waterproof, is filled with nitrogen p>
The monocular is filled with nitrogen, a colorless gas that prevents the lenses from fogging. Abrupt temperature changes will not cause the optics to fog up, which is why this monocular has no operating problems even in extreme weather conditions. It is waterproof to rain and snow, as well as resistant to brief accidental immersion in water. A hermetically sealed shell protects the optics and mechanical parts against the penetration of liquids and dust.
If necessary, the monocular can be attached to a tripod.
