Levenhuk Nelson 7x35 Monocular - LEVENHUK

The Levenhuk Nelson 7x35 marine monocular features a built-in compass and rangefinder. These tools allow the monocle to measure the distance to objects and determine the direction of objects with the cardinal points. The monocular is lightweight and durable and won't take up too much space in a backpack. The use of this instrument is recommended for fishing enthusiasts and owners of small boats.

The monocular provides 7x magnification, sufficient to see distant objects in detail. The short distance focus is only 3 m. The lenses are made of BaK-4 glass. Fully multi-coated lenses transmit a bright, high-resolution image. The waterproof plastic body is filled with nitrogen which prevents the lenses from fogging.

The instrument has a built-in compass and rangefinder for daytime use (without illumination). A dial is visible in the eyepiece which shows the direction to the studied object in degrees of angle. North is 360°, South is 180°, East is 90° and West is 270°.

The rangefinder will be useful to calculate the distance of the object with dimensions known (height). You can also calculate the size of an object if you know the distance to it. The rangefinder indications and a special formula will be sufficient for the calculation.

We recommend using this monocular with the Levenhuk FS10 floating neck strap when you are close to water, as this brightly colored accessory will prevent the instrument from optical from sinking and being lost.
