MAGUS Metal D630 BD metallographic digital microscope for bright field, dark field and polarization microscopy techniques. Powerful halogen illumination produces a quality image with any objective lens and microscopy method. The microscope is designed for quality control and study of the microstructure of semiconductor materials, metals and opaque objects. It is used to conduct research at manufacturing plants, research center laboratories and university departments.
Digital camera
The MAGUS CLM30 digital camera is designed for the dark-field and fluorescence microscopy technique. The camera is equipped with an 8.3 MP sensor and produces realistic images at a resolution of 3840x2160 px. It is recommended to use the camera with 4x, 10x, 20x and 40x lenses. When using low magnification lenses, the camera allows the user to see sharper details.
Videos are recorded at 45 fps or 70 fps depending on the resolution - videos flow smoothly with smooth and delicate transactions between frames. The movement of the sample is shown in real time, without delays. The camera facilitates the observation of moving objects and is suitable for academic demonstrations.
The camera is equipped with a USB 3.0 interface. The data transfer speed is 10 times faster than USB 2.0 cameras. The high-speed camera is recommended for professional laboratories, research or university education.
Optics
The trinocular head is equipped with a trinocular tube in which it is digital camera mounted (not included). You can direct the light beam onto the eyepiece or trinocular tube using a light path selection knob on the camera/eyepiece. The trinocular head is inclined at 30° to facilitate observation. The diopter adjustment ring is positioned on the left optical tube.
Once the lenses included in the kit have been mounted on the nosepiece, a slot for an additional lens will be available. All base objectives are planachromatic, with a long working distance, suitable for bright and dark field microscopy.
Illumination
For observations in dark field, the microscope has a higher power halogen lamp (50 W). In addition, the reflected light illumination system includes: a set of filters, field and aperture diaphragms, a dark field device, an integrated analyzer and a removable polarizer. The openings and light source can be centered. You can configure the Köhler illumination method.
Stage and focusing mechanism
The microscope features a stand and focusing mechanism from interesting design and the analyzed sample can be of any size and height. It is also characterized by its small dimensions, which allow the microscope to be positioned on surfaces with a maximum height of 40 cm. The coarse and fine focus knobs are coaxial and are located on both sides of the microscope body. You can also adjust the coarse tension adjustment.
Accessories
Additional accessories of the MAGUS Metal 630 BD microscope can be ordered separately. These include compatible eyepieces, objectives with a long working distance for bright and dark field techniques, calibration slides and digital cameras.
