This model works with three-dimensional objects and creates a 3D image: the researcher has the opportunity to examine the topographical features of the object and estimate its size in a three-dimensional way. The microscope works with opaque and transparent samples, therefore it is equipped with illuminators for reflected and transmitted light.
The microscope is designed according to the CMO (Common Main Objective) system. It has a wide field of view, the image is displayed without geometric distortion, at high resolution and with remarkable color rendering. The microscope has a binocular head with pipes installed at an angle of 20 degrees. They do not have a diopter adjustment system. If it is necessary to adjust the sharpness to suit the user's vision, use eyepieces with a diopter adjustment ring. It is possible to install a digital camera on the microscope head: mounted on the intermediate accessory which will require a C-mount adapter.
In a stereoscopic microscope with a CMO system, the two optical channels that pass through the eyepiece tubes are unite in the main goal. It is located at a right angle to the plane of the observed object, without deforming the image of the object. The stereoscopic angle is 11 degrees: the object is visible in three dimensions. The MAGUS Stereo A8 model is equipped with a plan achromatic objective with 1x magnification. The planachromatic lens corrects spherical and chromatic distortions. The working distance of the microscope is 78 mm.
The zoom lens in the tubes simultaneously changes the magnification and focal length, constantly maintaining a clear and sharp image of the object. The image is initially formed in a direct, not inverted form. The zoom ratio of the MAGUS Stereo A8 microscope is 8:1.
You can adjust the focused image using the focus knobs, arranged coaxially. You can adjust the tension of the stroke.
The table is equipped with two plates. The transparent plate is used for translucent and transparent samples and for studying in transmitted light. Helps achieve uniform illumination of the object. The black and white plate serves as a background for opaque objects based on contrast. Light samples are examined on the black plate and dark samples on the white plate.
The light source of the microscope consists of two LED lights. There are two illuminators: transmitted light (6 W) and oblique reflected light (3 W). The LED has a life of 50,000 hours.
It is possible to modify the accessories of the microscope to achieve the desired technical characteristics. Eyepieces affect magnification. The main objective is intended for magnification, working distance and width of the field of view. To measure an object being examined, you must use calibration slides with a division value of 0.1 mm.
