The MAGUS SFR50 50x has a resolution limit of 0.39 µm. It is designed for an infinity corrected optical system at a parfocal distance of 45mm. It is not necessary to cover the specimen with a coverslip to observe it.

A planachromatic objective corrects chromatic aberrations in red and blue colors, spherical in green, and geometric aberrations for 90% of the image area. The lens provides a wide and clear field of view. It is suitable for use in conjunction with a system equipped with a digital camera or wide-field eyepieces with a 22 mm field of view. A 10x/22mm eyepiece will provide a 0.44mm field of view. The image will be sharp both in the center and on the sides.

A possible microscope magnification for this objective will range from 350x and 700x. To achieve the desired magnification, we recommend using eyepieces with a magnification of 7x to 15x. Eyepieces with a lower magnification will not allow you to effectively examine the sample, while an eyepiece with a magnification greater than 15x will not provide new data.
