Levenhuk MED X/Y calibration slide - LEVENHUK

The Levenhuk MED X/Y calibration slide is an accessory that requires calibration of the image analysis program. Determines the correction factor, so that the program can quickly convert values into different units of measurement. The calibration slide can be used with any brand of microscope.

The Levenhuk MED X/Y calibration slide is a transparent piece of glass slide. In the center there is a micrometric scale. The minimum value is 0.01 mm. It has circles of different diameters (1.5 mm, 0.6 mm, 0.15 mm and 0.07 mm) on both sides of the scale.

How to use the calibration slide:

1. Secure the slide on the microscope stage.
2. Rotate the nosepiece to select the working objective.
3. Set the camera in shooting mode at maximum resolution and then take a photo of the scale.
4. In the image analysis program, select the calibration mode, use the mouse to indicate the maximum visible distance and then enter the resulting value in real units.
5. Enter the name of the calibration and double check the values.
6. If everything is done correctly, the program will remember the correction factor and, in the future, will convert independently the values in the required measurement units.
