The Levenhuk 500T POL microscope allows you to carry out research in bright field and with the use of polarized light. Its potential proves useful in medicine, biology, crystallography, criminology, metallography and other scientific fields. This professional-grade microscope features a reliable design and high-quality optics.
It is a trinocular head model: a binocular, slightly inclined viewer and an eyepiece tube for installing a digital camera, in a vertical position. It is possible to rotate the head 360°. The optical scheme consists of wide-field eyepieces with 10x magnification and achromatic objectives with 4x, 10x, 40x and 100x magnification. The front lenses of the 40x and 100x objectives are equipped with a protective retractable spring mechanism. It is possible to make observations with the oil immersion method and the aid of the 100x objective. Focusing is available in both coarse and fine modes.
The microscope is equipped with a round, rotatable stage. The fixing of the slides on the table is done using the classic clips. Under the table there is a condenser with iris diaphragm and filter holder. The lighting unit, which consists of an LED bulb with a collector, is positioned in the lowest portion of the instrument. The brightness of the light is adjustable. In addition, the microscope has a built-in polarizer and analyzer.
The light is powered by AC power.
