The Levenhuk 500B binocular microscope is perfect for laboratory analysis of stained slides containing plant or animal tissue. Thanks to halogen light, the entire range of visible colors will be transmitted as accurately as possible and the excellent contrast of details will amaze even the most demanding researchers. This microscope is a fantastic choice for biochemists, microbiologists or veterinarians.
This model features wide-field eyepieces with 10x magnification and achromatic objectives with 4x, 10x, 40x and 100x magnification. For greater comfort, the binocular head is inclined at 45°; furthermore, it rotates 360°. The optics allow you to examine samples at magnifications between 40x and 1000x using the bright field method combined with oil immersion. Two of the lenses have front lens protection (retractable spring mechanism): the 40x and 100x lenses. Immersion oil must be used with the 100x objective.
The microscope is equipped with a stage equipped with a mechanical translator, useful for accurate positioning of the sample under the objective. Under the table, there is an Abbe condenser with adjustable height and iris diaphragm. You can install an optical filter using a special holder. The powerful halogen light is equipped with a collector and equipped with brightness adjustment. The light is powered by AC mains electricity.
All optical elements of this microscope are made of glass. The body is made of metal.
