The Levenhuk DTX 700 LCD digital microscope is suitable for working with small jewelry parts, electronic boards, minerals, coins and metal sections. This microscope is also useful for home use, for example for examining insects and plants. The Levenhuk DTX 700 LCD is equipped with an LCD screen, thanks to which it is possible to reduce eye strain during prolonged observations and which is more comfortable than using a classic microscope eyepiece.

The image is reproduced by a 5 MP digital camera. The camera provides a magnification of 10 to 300x and an additional digital zoom allows observation of objects up to 1200x. The vivid and detailed image is then transmitted to the integrated LCD screen. Additionally, the built-in camera allows you to capture images and shoot videos. The control buttons are located below the screen. They are used to select the quality of photos and videos, activate and deactivate the time-lapse mode, choose the circular video mode and set the date and time.

This microscope is completely autonomous and does not require be connected to any other external devices. To save photos and videos you need to use a memory card (purchased separately). The microscope can also be connected to an external monitor, TV or computer. The kit includes software and all necessary cables. Note: Once installed on a computer, the software allows you to measure the displayed objects (line, radius, diameter, angle between three points). Thanks to the software it is also possible to add images and writings to the photos taken by the microscope.

The lighting system of the microscope consists of intense LED lights with adjustable brightness. There is a built-in polarizing filter, which reduces parasitic reflections when observing metals with shiny surfaces.

The microscope is powered by AC mains or by a built-in battery, which guarantees up to three hours of battery life .

Tip for using the software: to make the PortableCapture Plus program (or its other versions) work correctly, start the installed application only when the microscope is connected to a PC and is ready for observations.

Attention! The mains voltage in the United States and Canada is 110 V, while in most European countries it is 220–240 V Refer to the specification table for the correct mains voltage and never attempt to connect a 110V device to a 220V outlet and vice versa, without using a transformer.

The Levenhuk DTX 700 LCD microscope is not compatible with external digital cameras.
