Levenhuk MED 30 is a trinocular microscope part of the Levenhuk MED professional series. Infinity-corrected semi-planachromatic optics
The Levenhuk series microscopes MED 30 are equipped with an infinity corrected optical system, used in professional and high-end microscopes. This system includes semi-planar lenses and allows for clear, high-contrast images with an excellent level of planarity.
One of the most important characteristics of the infinity corrected optical system is that it allows the installation of further parts in the optical path between the objective lens and the eyepiece. Additional parts include polarizers (all Levenhuk MED 30 microscopes are equipped with a special slot for their installation), epifluorescence lights and devices. Overall, the modularity and ease of use make the Levenhuk MED 30 microscopes optimal for use in various fields of microscopy, for work in hematology, histology, microbiology and other laboratories.
Rotating head with beam splitter
A trinocular head consists of an eyepiece on which to install a digital camera (not included) and a binocular head for visual observations. The 30º tilt angle is comfortable for long periods of work and the 360 rotatable head allows effective use of the microscope for group work. There is a beam splitter.
Optical system capabilities
Wide-field eyepieces allow the diopters to be adjusted to the customer's vision. The eyepieces offer 10x magnification. Five objective lenses are included; those with higher magnifications are equipped with a retractable spring mechanism to protect the optics from accidental damage. A 100x objective is used to make observations using oil immersion. All objective lenses are semi-flat achromatic and, therefore, improve color rendering, eliminate optical aberrations and significantly flatten the field of vision. The optical elements of the accessories are protected with an anti-fungal coating. Sharpness is adjusted with the macrometric and micrometric adjustment knobs.
Working on slides with LED lighting
The stage is equipped with a metal scale. Makes it easy to place a sample under an objective lens. Under the coffee table, there is an Abbe condenser with an iris diaphragm. Three included light filters improve image contrast and allow you to distinguish small details of specimens at high magnification. A 3 W LED is used to illuminate the samples. It is placed under a capacitor and offers adjustable brightness. The LED light has a lens that enhances brightness. Kohler lighting setting is available. The light is powered by an alternating current source.
