The Levenhuk 5S NG microscope is a simple, reliable and safe optical instrument. Illumination to the slides is provided via a mirror. It does not require electricity or AC current, so your child will not come into contact with electricity. The young explorer will be able to use it independently without his safety becoming a problem. An iris adjustment tool is used to control the illumination intensity.
All optical elements of the microscope are made of glass and are protected by a robust metal body. The rotating nosepiece has space for three objectives and rotates easily. The monocular nosepiece allows for changing eyepieces to achieve the correct magnification. The storage table is equipped with standard levers. It is possible to adjust the sharpness with the coarse and fine adjustment knobs of the focus.
