This knife owes its name to the blunt tip, as if the blade had been cut off. Knives without a tip became much more widespread with the “Giolitti law” of 1908 which fixed the length of the blade of pointed knives at only four centimeters. For mozzette the limit rose to ten centimetres, offering the possibility of safely carrying a knife of sufficient size in your pocket without risking incurring the rigors of the law.

Made entirely in Italy with a real horn handle.
