The MAGUS CBF90 digital microscope camera is a professional tool for taking photographs and recording videos, editing, viewing and saving footage, and organizing demonstrations by viewing the image on an external screen.
The device should be used with lenses from 20x, 40x, 60x and 100x, when working using the brightfield method.
Video modes
MAGUS CBF90 has two graphics modes: 2448x2048 px (with a frame rate of 35 fps) and 1224x1024 px (50 fps). This is enough to capture clear informative photographs and smooth videos that accurately record all the movements of the sample and the characteristics of the observed processes.
Sensor
The camera uses a back-illuminated SONY Exmor CMOS sensor for improved low-light performance.
The large physical size of the sensor (2/3”) improves the image: enhances colors, removes distortion and expands the field of view . You can further improve this result by using an adapter with a magnification of 0.7x to 0.9x.
Work faster
The USB 3.0 interface of the camera speeds up data transfer by 10 times compared to the previous generation. This feature is particularly useful when organizing classroom demonstrations: the audience will not miss anything and the videos will be smooth and jerk-free.
Installation
The camera It is installed in the trinocular tube of the microscope (requires a C-mount adapter) or in the eyepiece tube (requires an adapter and an adapter ring of suitable diameter).
