The MAGUS CBF50 digital camera is designed for use with a microscope. It allows you to take photos and record videos, edit the resulting materials and organize demonstrations.
It is recommended to use the camera in the bright field method with 40x, 60x and 100x objectives.
Resolution adjustment
The camera is equipped with a 3.1 MP sensor and has two resolution modes: 2048x1536 px (with the ability to record video at 53 fps) and 1024x768 px ( 85 fps). The frame rate in these modes is sufficient to observe moving objects, rapid processes, and sample motions without delay. Video recording is smooth, without stutter or freezes when frame transitions and photos are clear and easy to read.
Sensor
The CMOS sensor Backlit SONY Exmor with a light sensitivity of 1146 mV at 1/30 s will help conduct research and productive shooting even in low light conditions.
Data transfer
The camera is equipped with a USB 3.0 interface which is 10 times faster than the previous generation interface. Data transfer occurs without blocking or skipping, which helps in organizing demonstrations and instantly viewing images on an external screen.
Getting Started
The camera comes with the necessary software to take photos and videos, edit graphics, conduct demonstrations, and perform linear and angular measurements (the function requires calibration, which must be performed for each lens).
