Digital camera with a 2 MP sensor for studying microscopic objects using the dark field or bright field microscopy technique. The camera is equipped with a color back-illuminated SONY Exmor CMOS sensor. This sensor increases light sensitivity (2350 mV at 1/30 s) and improves image quality in low light conditions. The use of lenses with 40x, 60x and 100x magnification allows you to achieve excellent performance.
The MAGUS CDF10 camera allows you to view the image of an object on a computer monitor at Full HD 1920x1080 px resolution , to take photographs and record videos in different formats. Data transfer between camera and computer is performed via a USB 3.0 interface with a data transfer rate of 5 Gbps. At maximum resolution, video is displayed at 125 fps with a smooth transition between frames. The camera is perfect for studying moving objects and can also be used for lectures and presentations.
You can install the camera on the trinocular tube or on the optical tube of a microscope. The digital camera is mounted on the trinocular tube using a C-mount adapter. The recommended magnification for the adapter is 0.4x to 0.6x, which ensures a wide field of view without optical distortion. In addition to the adapter, you will need an adapter ring of the same diameter as the tube to mount the camera to the optical tube.
The proprietary MAGUS View software is required to use the camera. The package includes an installation disc with drivers and software. Please note: Before you get started, you will need to calibrate your software for each lens you use. You need to purchase the calibration slide separately.
