ZEISS SFL - The lightweight model among high-performance binoculars.
With ZEISS SFL (SmartFocus Lightweight) binoculars you can experience special moments with ease. Optimized to be as light and compact as possible, SFL binoculars are the perfect complement to the SF range. The new Ultra-High-Definition (UHD) concept guarantees color fidelity and the highest level of detail. Thanks to the SmartFocus concept, the focusing ring is perfectly positioned and allows fast and precise focusing, even when wearing gloves. Optimized ergonomics and a large exit pupil allow for a relaxed and undisturbed view.
The diameter of the lens has been reduced by 2 mm, allowing the use of thinner and closer lenses and therefore reducing the weight of the binoculars up to 20% and their volume up to 13% compared to ZEISS Victory SF models. As a result, SFL binoculars are up to 30% lighter than similar competitive products.

With the SFL 30 we offer compact binoculars in the practical design of pocket binoculars which, thanks to its low weight, it does not weigh down the load, even on longer excursions. With a field of view of up to 142 meters at a distance of 1,000 and a close focus of 1.5 meters, it transmits a perfect overview with precise recognition of details.

The lightweight yet robust magnesium hull then improves durability and longevity for generations to come. The smaller lens diameter has allowed us to use thinner lenses that can be mounted closer together. At the same time, SFL binoculars offer perfect image quality despite the incredible reduction in weight and volume.

The Ultra-High-Definition (UHD) concept features a special treatment and improved optical design that ensures the binoculars have the highest level of detail definition and faithful color reproduction. In this way it is possible to precisely identify the smallest details of the plumage and reliably distinguish the various species.
SmartFocus concept for intuitive and precise handling
The SmartFocus concept allows rapid and precise focusing, without having to move apart fingers. The focusing ring, perfectly positioned in the DoubleLink bridge, offers the highest level of operational ergonomics, requiring just 1.4 turns from close focus to infinity and capable of rotating precisely even when wearing gloves.
90% light transmission
With 90% light transmission and ZEISS T* multi-layer coating you can clearly and precisely recognize details in twilight, confident in capturing every moment, even in the dark.
Comfortable visual experience
The perfect ergonomics of the ZEISS SFL models allows for quick and easy positioning of the eye and therefore ensures comfortable and immersive vision thanks to the large exit pupil. Furthermore, the improved eyecups convey an even better ergonomic feel and a smooth transition between contact points, which can be precisely defined and achieved perfectly.

ZEISS T* Coating is a guarantee of brilliant, high-contrast images that you will experience especially in unfavorable lighting conditions and at twilight. Behind it, however, there is no rigid formula for building layers. Instead, it is a technology that is constantly adapted to new materials and the needs of various glasses, different from lens to lens.
