Optics
All elements of these binoculars are made of extra-low dispersion coated glass that reduces optical aberrations, eliminates glare, and improves image contrast and brightness throughout field of view. The optical scheme is realized using compact roof prism prisms, multi-element eyepieces and objective lenses. The eyepiece uses five separate lenses that significantly increase image sharpness. Levenhuk Monaco ED 10x42 offers 10x magnification and transmits a perfect image both on sunny days and in low lighting conditions.
Body material
The body Plastic binocular is resistant to temperature changes and mechanical impact. It withstands impacts and shocks without problems and is resistant to dust and humidity. The optical elements are safely protected from sand, mud, rain or snow. These binoculars survive short periods submerged (up to three minutes) in water no deeper than 1.5 m (5 feet). Their structure is filled with nitrogen which prevents fogging. They are covered with an anti-slip coating that ensures their grip.
Additional capabilities
The Levenhuk Monaco ED 10x42 binoculars are adaptable to a tripod (purchased separately). Basic settings are also available: interpupillary distance adjustment, diopter adjustment on the right eyepiece and easy focusing.
