Lenses “Made in Russia” with a ruby red coating
The binoculars are designed by Levenhuk at the famous Russian company Kazan Optical-Mechanical Plant. The plant was founded in 1940 and has supplied optical instruments for observation for over 70 years for the Russian Army (formerly Soviet Armed Forces). For many decades, Russian optical glass has been recognized worldwide for high quality standards among military, hunters and security force personnel. Lenses with a ruby red color coating significantly increase image contrast in low light conditions (on a cloudy day, at dusk and during pre-dawn hours).
Reticle
The right eyepiece is equipped with a reticle that allows you to quickly measure the distance of an observed object if you know its width and height. Information on how to use the reticle is contained in the user manual. This option is indispensable for military exercises or for hunting when the dimensions of the target are known and it is necessary to accurately calculate the distance for the shot.
Aluminium body covered in rubber
The lenses are protected by a robust aluminum body which is completely covered in rubber, thus allowing for a secure and reliable grip. All joints are sealed with a special substance that protects the optical instrument from dust and moisture. The binoculars can be used in good weather, rain or snow.
Additional features
The Levenhuk Heritage PLUS 8x30 binoculars have an adjustable interpupillary distance and a of the diopters on the right eyepiece. The focus wheel is located in the central part of the tool.
