The Big Boss II model presses and the original Big Boss. These items are top of the line
single station presses and own a
window with the largest possible opening and the longest possible lever guide
compared to all other presses on the
market. Both the original Big Boss and the new Big Boss II possess all the desirable features for a shooter that were already present in the older models of presses in the 'BOSS' line. In addition, they have been built
with much heavier and sturdier frames having a punch thicker than 1”
compared to previous models. They are also characterized by having a
longer piston stroke of about 3.8” which allows for even reloading
the largest magnum cartridges, using as much range as possible.
The Big Boss II comes with a unique feature that only the
Redding and that is the “Spent Primer Collection System”. It's a system for
collection of very innovative primers which is also present on the models
T-7 and on the UltraMag press. The key feature of this
press compared to its single-station peer categories is that it owns
a much wider opening window and above all a greater one
length of the piston that allows a higher excursion. It is simply the best press a shooter will ever buy and hold
