As all reloaders know, manually refilling primer tubes can be the most time consuming step in the refilling process.

Double-Alpha's PRIMER-PRO has an innovative patent pending design that deviates from the traditional vibrating cup solution used by all other automatic primer tube machines. The PRIMER-PRO uses a solution consisting of a rotating rack
where the primers can exit the tank through 20 precisely formed channels, ONLY if they are oriented in the correct direction. If they turn up with the side to be struck down, they will not pass through the channel, and rather will slide back into the bowl when their channel reaches the top of the rotation, to enter again later, correctly oriented.
This design makes it virtually impossible for a trigger to enter the output channel if oriented incorrectly, making this device extremely reliable. During development, we have successfully run many tests where 100 tubes (10,000 primers fed) were filled without a single inverted primer!
As the primers slide down the covered exit chute, they pass through an optical sensor that counts them and stops spinning after 100 primers have been counted in the primer tube. The processor electronics board also monitors the sensor and is programmed to stop rotation if, for any reason, triggers get stuck on the exit hole and accumulate along the ramp. The rotation will be stopped before the primers completely accumulate and jam the distributor. If so, the LED will flash rapidly to indicate that there is a problem. Once cleared, pressing the start button again will allow the collector to run and the count will continue from where it left off. Or alternatively, a long press on the button will start the new count.
One of PRIMER-PRO's most innovative design solutions is the output actuator arm, which is activated by a lever system outside the synchronization disc at the bottom of the rotating assembly. This exit actuator arm slides the triggers from the bottom of the ramp slide, moving them over the exit hole, holding them there for a split second to ensure they are horizontal and stable. This dynamic solution for the exit hole greatly reduces the chance of primers turning as they exit the tube, a common problem with other automatic primer systems.
The PRIMER-PRO is currently only available for small hookbaits. A large primer version may be offered in the future.
A magnetic attachment for a Dillon primer tube is included with the unit. Trigger collection tube IS NOT INCLUDED! Additional magnetic collars can be purchased separately, for those who prefer to fill more tubes before starting the charging session.
The unit operates via a 12V DC power supply (dual voltage, 110-230), supplied with a set of European and American prong adapter included. The power cord is 2 meters (6 feet) long and includes an ON / OFF switch in the cord.
