The Ermenrich Seek TV50 thermal imager is suitable for a wide range of applications. For example, by inspecting electrical equipment with a thermal imager it is possible to detect defects such as the presence of overheated contacts. The Ermenrich Seek TV50 is also useful for identifying heat losses on building facades or at foundation level when inspecting industrial and residential buildings. It can be used on construction sites to check the installation of underfloor heating systems, radiators and water heaters. This thermal imager can also be useful for vehicle repairs and maintenance, as well as for pest control (when searching for pests inside a building). The range of temperatures measured by the Ermenrich Seek TV50 ranges from −20 °C to +400 °C.
The thermal imager is equipped with a 32x32 pixel thermal image sensor (1024 total pixels ) and a 2 MP camera for capturing images in the visible spectrum. There are 4 modes: infrared mode, edge detection infrared mode, dual spectrum viewing mode, visible spectrum mode. Furthermore, you can choose from 7 color palettes. The image is shown on the built-in color screen. Operation and settings are controlled via four buttons below the screen and a button on the handle. There is an image capture function: the photos are stored on a memory card.
This instrument must be held by hand during use, there is no tripod socket. Power is provided by a rechargeable battery.
